A beautiful inland lake
This place needs a car to get there. It seems like only local people knows this place. The View is spectacular!! You can stay here for an hour or two just to sit on the grassland and enjoy the quietness. Not many people knows about this place.

Serene picturesque landscape
Yilan Longtan Lake is set in a calm and quiet outskirt of Jiaoxi town where one can take a stroll enjoying the scenery and watching the carp and koi fish swim in the clear water. A few herons, ducks and swans also share the lake surrounded by greenery

Far from the madding crowds
We had a very relaxing stroll around the whole lake.It was beautiful and it you go in the week;chances are that you will have the whole place to yourself,.But do not make the mistake we did;We went on a blistering hot summer day just after 2 o' clock,.Not a good idea.If you want to make the most of your experience, go early morning or better still, late afternoon.It is very beautiful ,rustic and you can even feed the fish.Ideal for photo lovers.Take your camera!
