A great way to explore Xinjiang
We hired Ablajan as our driver and guide for our 10 day road trip touring north and northwest xinjiang. But due to covid, we had to skip the northwest and do more day trips out of Urumqi and we went to Turpan. Having Ablajan allows us to be very flexible with our itinerary and he was experienced and knowledgeable enough to make the changes seamless and painless. We actually ended up experiencing a wide spectrum of landscapes which was amazing and exciting. Ablajan is effectively fluent in a few languages, professional, punctual and willing to go that extra mile. His car is always clean and spotless when he arrives in the morning to take us out. And with my diet restrictions, he will always bring me something yummy to eat for lunch at scenic spots where there are not much food options. Will definitely contact Ablajan again for our next trip to xinjiang.

Wonderful n wonderful trip!
This was our second trip exploring Xinjiang with Ablajan and it certainly brought back the wonderful memories. Our first 12-day private tour to Northern Xinjiang with Ablajan was so amazing that we simply had to come back to visit him and Xinjiang again. From decided on travel date, to booking, and hopped on plane, the trip was in shape in less than 10 days. Ablajan’s excellent knowledge and superb planning and coordination, made our trip run smoothly without hassle in this strict Covid preventive measures period. We enjoyed off beat trek away from tourists in Heavenly Lake and Ablajan brought a picnic table full of nuts, dates and tea for lunch. Enjoyed many amazing restaurants and food, specially ate among the herders in the Live stock market in Kashgar, the atmosphere was awesome. Marveled at Ancient village, Buddhist cave, ruin city, buggy ride in Kumtagh desert , hiked in grand canyon, explored grape drying houses in Turpan and Kuqa. Soaked ourselves in Kashgar’s colorful architecture and handicraft and tasted Kashgar shave ice! Hiked Sipton’s Arch. Drove along the Karakoram Highway and enjoyed all the different stunning and magnificent landscapes. Overall it was a wonderfully organized trip with beautiful scenery, great hikes, excellent food, most friendly people and fascinating culture in the region. Ablajan, Thank you for the most memorable vacation. Highly recommend Ablajan if you are looking for an unforgettable adventure! Ablajan is an amazing guide for Xinjiang
Ablajan is an amazing guide for Xinjiang! We spent 6 days with him in Urumqi, Turpan, and Ili. It was a packed but great itinerary to see the variety of landscapes and people of Xinjiang. Ablajan took super good care of us, buying food (melon time?), helping to cross checkpoints and Covid test (unavoidable if you travel to Xinjiang - but it was all smooth for us) He speaks very good English and is knowledgeable on the history of the places. He helped us to try all the local delicious food. He was flexible each day when we spent too much time taking too many photos. And always in for a good laugh ☺️ Again, to conclude: Ablajan is an amazing guide for Xinjiang!
