If you go by bus then have to walk almost 20 minuts from nearest bus/brt stop. Enterance is free. One can either walk or sit in a mini cart after the bridge to the top. It cost only 10 Rmb i think. Once you are at the top there many things to do. In my opinion the city views are fantastic. One should go in a clear sunny day or at sunset.

A nice walk in the park
A nice place to take a walk, right in the middle of the city. Good view from the top, nothing extremely interesting but, if one has the time to spare, a good place to get away from the bustling city Urumqi has become. Not so great on the weekend as Chinese families can be noisy as they do not mind crowds and noise, so it seems. No fee to enter the park but there are some rides/attractions inside that require tickets.

Only attraction in Urumqi
It is the only attraction to see in Urumqi. Not sure if it was worth the time. Too many local and no understanding of English. You have to go on a clear day and not a cloudy or rainy day.
