The turquoise waist belt of heaven
After visiting the choking warm" Flaming Mountain" in Turpan,we took a flight to Altay.The visit to Kanas National Park can only be sum in one word -- Breathtaking.You saw turquoise blue river meandering along the basin of the steppe line with coniferous tree.It is a must to visit the highest point known in Chinese as 观鱼亭.There you can have the panoramic view of the entire basin.The only snag is that you have to hike over thousand steps.Do allocate ample time for this place.Nature will paint the scene with variable palette at different time of the day.Imagine basking in the evening sun and watching the soothing turqoise river. Never take the boat cruise ! The boat will dash you to just a few location and after taking quick snap of photo,they will make a quick return.I see the tourist doze off in the journey.Besides,it is pricy and the cruise operator never explain the safety feature or procedure prior to departure.I never see any display of life jackets. Should any tragedy happen,I cannot imagine the consequence.

Poetic Kanas River
The meandering colourful river is really a sight to behold. It is simply picture perfect and out of the world. A trip worth taking. A sight worth seeing
