Adventurous journey for me!
I was traveling in a contingent of 5 units of 4x4 vehicles with 15 persons. It was such an enjoyable and an adventurous trip for me! Xinjiang is so vast, picturesque with so many unique natural scenery. The drivers were so experience and it was so challenging to drive off the main roads into the big prairie. I would recommend to travel by 4x4 as you can travel to inner parts where normal vehicles are inaccessible! It's one of the best place I have visited in my many years of traveling. Will be going back again!

The grassland is so so
The grassland is not rich and thick, because it's on the high attitude, so the grass can only grow on the surface of the soil. Very windy and cold, the day that we went was raining, so it worsen the experience. The hotel condition near by are not good, heard the best 3 are owned by 3 sisters. The environment is somehow damaged by human, it affect the living the wild animals especially the swan. The horse are still great. You can see the famous black head sheeps.
