    “Crown Jewel of Yellowstone “
Old Faithful erupts more frequently than any other big geyser. It is not largest but more regular & consistent geyser in the park . It’s average interval between eruptions is 90 +_ 10 minutes. The site , located on the rear side of Visitor Center is simply amazing. Due to the faithfulness of this geyser, the visitors to this site are more compared to other geyser. The boardwalk & semi circular sitting arrangements are really excellent. During our 3 days stay in Old Faithful Lodge , we have seen 8 eruptions of this geyser & simply thrilled to see its performance. The maximum eruption lasted for almost 5.1 minutes with a throw of about 180 feet. A must see spot for Yellowstone visitors.

A Must Do for Your Bucket List
The geyser goes off every 90 minutes or so, but the times for estimated activity are posted. People will tightly congregate for the last 20 minutes before it goes off. If you are a small person, squeeze through the crowd and sit down. The area is very commercialized and full of Inns and Services. Lots of parking.
