Woodward Plains Indian Museum

This is a great museum. It not only covers the land run of 1893 and the history of Woodward Oklahoma, but it is free. Donations are accepted and they do have a gift shop. There is also limited time exhibits during the year.

Worth a Visit When in Woodward
Very nice museum. Documents the life and times of Sam Houston's son who was a resident and lawyer (Temple Houston). Has some great artifacts and has almost continual art shows of local and surrounding fine artist. Was named "the best local history museum in the state". Great documentation of old pioneer life and plains indians.. Enjoy every time we visit.
