Lord Hobo Brewing Company, Massachusetts, United States

Very cool set up

Stopped at Lord Hobo to check it out as I’ve heard of their brews and wanted to try some. The atmosphere is very chill with wood benches and self selecting flight menus asking to be filled out. The bar provided fast service and then if you wanted something to eat they have a small kitchen to order food from. A beeper is provided when you order so that you know when your food is ready for pick up. Great vibe, I definitely will go back if I’m in the area. The gift shop and to go options were great as well. I managed to find some gifts while there. There were many people there with kids, and even a dog was present inside.

Fantastic beer and very good food.
Both at the brewery and other times during the weekend we drank various Lord Hobo beers and were very pleased with everything we tried. Having lunch at the brewery only added to our opinion of the beer. The interior is large and open, and for lunch on a Saturday there was enough space for all the guests. Two of us had the Hobo Burger and the other member of our party had the wings, with us splitting an order of truffle fries. As mentioned, the beer was great, and the burgers and wings were as well. The same thing for the staff and service. I was a little disappointed in the truffle fries as they hit the table only warm and got cold very quickly.

    An impressive facility
We recently took some family here and boy this place has expanded and upgraded. When I was here last in 2018 it was a small location, now it has multiple large bars, plenty of seating indoors and outside. They tend to have a large selection of their own beers along with some guest pours of cider, seltzer and wine for those who fancy something else. I've always found their beer decent, but they do have a cult following for their Boomsauce. When we went they had their Pickle beer on tap which was interesting and worth a try. Their kitchen puts out standard far (wings, fries, pizza, salad). The fries, wings and poutine we had were good, nothing too crazy in my books, but it was all prepared well. With few options for breweries in this area, Lord Hobo does a good job holding down the craft beer scene if you are in the area and are looking for a flight.
