Many artifacts I've never seen. Ron did a great job with explaining the different displays and very knowlegable about railroads and what it was like at this station back in the day. We were there about an about 2 hours.

    Spooner History
I grew up in Spooner and now help out at the Museum since I moved back home. Wonderful to see all that has been saved and preserved of the Railroad history in Spooner.

More to see than you'd expect from the outside!
Being train lovers, we knew we'd have to stop at the Railroad Museum. It was totally worth the stop and price of admission. I wouldn't have believed the amount of artifacts and old memorabilia that they fit in the building. On display were uniforms, caps, even an old menu! Both people were very knowledgeable about both the history of the trains and how they impacted the town. They can tell you what happened to the buildings and point out the old roundhouse. Plan on spending at least a couple of hours going through the building. Then walk around the grounds and around the roundhouse as well. Definitely recommend that people put this on the list when they are in Spooner.
