Great food..small parking lot
Pioneer has some of the best food on Long Lake in Washburn County WI. We've eaten here many many times and have always had a great burger, pizza, chicken sandwich along with other assorted food. One downside is a very small parking lot. There's not much they can do to make it bigger unfortunately. They do have several docks if you're coming from the lake but, again, they do get crowded. The grill is small and sometimes the food takes awhile to arrive, but it's worth the wait. Give it a try, you'll love it

Lake views and great food for 4 generations of diners
Four generations visited this lakeside gem this month and everyone could find something to eat. Great grandma loved the pizza, grandma had the Reuben sandwich on rye, dad had the prime rib sandwich and 1 year old sampled the corn dogs and fries. Everyone tried pieces of the 'hank the tank' burger which was very good. Great view of the lake!
