Just Beautiful!!
It was amazing to see the exquisite detail and design that went into building this ultra-modern (for its time) grand mansion. Captain Pabst really did think of everything when it was designed. Our docent was quite knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions we may have had, and it was interesting to hear the stories about the Pabst family members. The trust is tracking down and acquiring original pieces of furniture and artwork all the time, so their collection is constantly growing and being added to the home, which is wonderful!! My only suggestion would be to reduce the number of people permitted in each tour group; there were around 18 people when we went through, and I found it difficult to get a good look around because there were so many people in the way. Other than that, I was so glad we visited!!

NOT TO BE MISSED!!!
A grand experience! Built in 1892 for Captain Frederick Pabst (founder of the Pabst Brewing Co.) this elegant Flemish Renaissance Revival style home is not to be missed as it is absolutely beautiful. The woodwork is exquisite. The home features 37 rooms, 12 baths and 14 fireplaces. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and allowed time for photo opportunities. I highly recommend it as a MUST SEE during your visit.
