Beautiful place to enjoy nature!
We enjoyed our visit to MWP so much that we came back a second day. The staff are extremely helpful and patient with newbies and really want you to enjoy your time at the park. We scheduled a group lesson which was very informative and the instructors took time with everyone. The tea house is a great stop for some hot chocolate or tea. The camp fires and benches are appreciated to pause and enjoy nature and some gorgeous views. It is truly a hidden gem!

Winter time magic!
This x country ski venue is amazing! Very well-groomed trails, lots of options for directions and ability. Charming warming spots along the way with outdoor fires and indoor spaces with refreshments. There is a great lodge for changing, resting and shopping. There is even a ski shop! The skating pond looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell Print!

Wow: Wear Yourself Out and Love It!
How long do you have, and well conditioned are you? X-C ski skill level? Don't worry: these well-groomed trails offer all you can do and more than most of us likely can in a day and many more. Skill levels for trails are well marked; the small staff in the "lodge' during the week with fewer skiers is polite, attentive and helpful. And early in the week, the trails are wide open and uncrowded. We didn't stay for any weekend programs, but the offerings looked great for families. Trails are beautiful and varied, nicely wind-sheltered, and meticulously maintained. We'll be back.
