Fall trails
On Willow Springs Road, by 107th, with free parking, 2 buildings to tour for free (one is the original red schoolhouse). The new facility has bathrooms, a table indie to sit at, great areas for kids for interactive play, and wonderfully done displays. There are owls and hawks in outdoor enclosures. Multiple trails of varying lengths well labelled, and fall displays. Well worth a trip this fall.

Nature Reserve
We stopped here while visiting the Tinley Park area and ended up spending a couple hours and did'nt even get to go on all the trails, very educational and beautiful grounds and gardens

Kid friendly of course
2 buildings. The original and the updated visiter center museum. We prefer to visit the newer building first then visit the original school house next door. If weather permits the site has numerous walking trails. Check out the working pay telephone booth on the grounds just east of the original building.
