Great room, great food. Just cannot win.
We stayed on Friday night (9/9/22. Had reservations for Saturday too but left Saturday afternoon. The food at "Fire" is beyond reproach. The filet is just excellent. We did however have a server on this trip that was impersonal and short with us. When I tried to call him over to get our check, he waived me off and waited about 25 minutes to come see what we needed. We had host assisted reservations for 7:30 Friday night, 9-9. I still tipped the guy 20%, but he really detracted from our enjoyment at dinner and our aggregate experience. The suite was very nice and clean. My problem is the machines and how they play and the daily "jackpots" that are claimed by the casino on their app/website. I've been coming there for two months. Pretty much every weekend. I usually play at Pearl River but decided to give your place serious consideration as my new usual casino, mainly because of proximity. But shouldn't I get a chance to go home a winner after 7 or 8 trips, each of which I put at risk a minimum of $2000 and a maximum of $7500? What is it that makes the machines so hard to win on? What am I doing wrong? The $10-$25 Double Diamond machines , wow. One of them took $1100 from me without returning a cherry. Not one. Can someone just be straight with me? If this is the norm and there is never going to be a chance of winning, just tell me and I will not be back. You say on the app that the daily jackpot total on 9-9 (Friday) was over a million $. We didn't see one single light flashing anywhere on the floor all Friday night. I just need to know, again, what constitutes a jackpot for the purposes of the advertisement? Where is this winning happening?

Traveling through wasn’t what I thought
Needed a place to stay more inland as poor gulf coast was battered by hurricane. Disappointed there were only slot machines & mostly penny. The steak restaurant was able to get us in thankfully as that was really the better menu options. Very accommodating & excellent service. However no alcohol on a Sunday was very deflating after a long day driving. The hotel does not offer certain things due to Covid like a real coffee cup. I tried to pay for an over priced movie to help fall asleep & the tv stopped working four times during the movie; very annoying. Got a good massage next morning however the therapist cut the time short. They make you pay upfront & automatically include gratuity. It was a good deep tissue massage though wish I could have paid & tipped after although probably would have cut the tip shorter just like my massage was :(
