Nashoba Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, Massachusetts, United States

Hidden gem for hiking and connecting with nature

This is a wonderful place to hike through the woods and beside a lake. I spent less than an hour there due to time constraints but I could have spent a lot more time. It's clean and peaceful, with the entrance located at the end of a cul de sac in what appears to be a relatively new development. It's great for solitude or the entire family. Although I didn't see any mammals, I could hear many birds singing. I was touched by a memorial built beside the pond by some children for a relative who had died in a war. They planted a bush in the sun and left a watering can so those who visit could help with the watering. I highly recommend a visit here!

    Peaceful nature
Quiet place for a short walk with the kids, we did created a scavenger hunt for the trail, don’t miss the turn off the road. Was buggy the day we went and forgot bug spray.

A Good Place to Bird Watch
This place is extra beautiful in the Fall. There's a short trail ideal for a stroll or a short run. I prefer the trail in the Fall as I personally think it is more beautiful when with the colorful foliage and leaves on the grounds.
