Offers a breathtaking view of Pokhara's mountain range. You can see the Annapurna mountain range along with views of other notable mountains on a clear day. Even if you visit during monsoon season, you still won't be let down by the panoramic view. I recommend booking a hotel or lodge with a room that has a view of the lake.

Our favourite place in Nepal, Pokhara. Beautiful lake, beautiful weather amazing scenery. Take a paid boat ride to a small island on the lake where u can visit a temple. Simply beautiful.

Beautiful Lake!!!
Beautiful lake at Phokara city with the backdrop of snow capped mountain. Unfortunately, we were there during winter and it was cloudy and the snow capped mountain were hidden in the clouds. Still, it is a very beautiful lake to stroll along the lakeside. We were told that October is the best time to come with clear visibility of snow capped mountain backdrop, but which also means that the lake will be more crowded and rowdy. Many activities along the lakeside with bar and restaurants and boat ride. The advantage to visit in December is that it is more quiet and relaxing at the lakeside since it is off peak season. Must visit when come to Pokhara!
