The Dutch Hospital Colombo - Relaxing visit
I loved every visit to the Dutch hospital as it is a great place to relax, have a meal and stroll around while doing some light shopping. There is an assortment of affordable restaurants offering amazing food for couples & families alike. A Must visit :)

Dutch Vive with a small shopping location
Dutch hospital with the Dutch vibe. Went to TapHouse. The bar gets crowded on Fridays. A lot of young people come here. The band is catered towards young people with popular music. Ministry of crabs was another good spot for dining.

Interesting place
We visited the Precinct as part of a tour and found it quite interesting. Considered to be the oldest building in the Colombo fort, the hospital was built by the Dutch and was only used to treat Dutch patients. Now it is an area with shops and restaurants. It was interesting to learn which shop used to be the morgue and where the wards used to be. We had a bit of a wander around and did some shopping but I would have liked to try some of the restaurants.
