Splendid waterfall hidden in the jungle
Thummodara, Colombo district's mountainous area, is well known for several famous destinations including 4 waterfalls. Dambora ella falls is one of them. ROUTE FROM COLOMBO, COLOMBO >A4 COLOMBO RATNAPURA highway >KALUAGGALA junction > turn Right to KALUAGGALA, LABUGAMA road > Pass THUMMODARA juction > go straight > POLWATTA junction( about 1.5km from Thummodara, > Turn RIGHT to DAMBORA Road > go ahead about 500m> as you climb up hill, THE DESTINATION. Its existence is not known by many including locals. Follow Google maps. 100% accurate. Rarely get crowed. There is no proper road to waterfall as it is hidden in the jungle. Beware of leeches on rainy days. Take some salt with you to answer leech problem. Waterfall is splendid and it will activate your photo mode. Enjoy the trip
