Fantastic shop and charming jeweller
City of Gem Museum has a shop in the grounds of the Mermaid Hotel and their jewelry is beautiful. I wanted something very specific to be made, and the result was exactly what I'd hoped for. I would really recommend this shop - there is no pressure to buy, and the quality is amazing.

We are doing a business with city if gems company many years .i. An recommend this company the best company ever.some of crazy people making a fake story for there own reasons...so better you contact the owner first for your jewelry..they have lots of jewelry shop japan and U.K. And srilanka.if you need to go for gem mining tour best with them..most of people are thinking gem mining in kandy or moonstone mine in Beriwala...so if you need to go for real (not fake) mine visit to city of gems rathnapura..don't trust people spoiling this company name and I can say visit to this shop in mermaid hotel or rathnapura you will realize witch is the best gem stones and best company after that....most of whole sale Coustomers love this company because they are very reasonable...again don't trust fake messages U.K. Andrea

Relax for my body and soul
I think that the fact that I have been there 5 times means that I like everything. The swimming pool is very nice and big, the beach is fantastic, fantastic is to see the fishermens coming in, and every afternoon a whole family of monkies are coming on the trees of the resort and you can feed them without fear
