Cute and worth a visit

I absolutely loved this little museum! It's really cute and there's a good vibe. You can get a personal tour (in Spanish, but the guide will talk slowly) and they will teach you a little about the life around the lake. I loved it!

    Time well spent!
    This is a small, interesting museum about the geology, history, and Mayan culture in the area around San Pedro and Lake Atitlan. The museum is well organized and the guide was knowledgeable and presented things clearly. I assume that they have tours in English, but I took one in Spanish, which was a great exercise. The guide spoke very clearly, so it's easy to follow along if you have about intermediate-level language skills.

    Great place to learn geology of Lake Atitlán and Mayan culture
    I have been there many times and each one I learn something! The museum is great and super well presented. If you want to know how the Caldera of Atitlán was formed go there! You will have amazing explanations.
