Matthew was an exceptionally well-informed guide! He does a wonderful job of entertaining while educating and bringing the waterfront to life. The tour enriches ones understanding of the rich and varied history of the area and it's importance to all of South Africa. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Locals, this one's for you too! Experience Cape Town like a tourist
As a local (Cape Townian) I was pleasantly surprised by this tour, and also somewhat embarrassed. Cape Town has a rich history, one us as locals don't know well enough. I joined a group of visiting tourists, and I felt like a tourist in my own city too. I knew as much as they did - which was barely anything! The tour was informative, went by way too quickly and I certainly learnt a lot. Many friends and family members had never heard about the Chavonnes Battery Museum or the Walking Tours before I experienced it! The guides were helpful, patient and keep surprising us with interesting facts. Plus it was a beautiful, clear day in the Mother City. Would love to do the tour again!

Pleasant walk through history!
I was pleasantly surprised at this tour and how informative it was about the history of the Waterfront! Definitely worth a try if you are curious to know more about history, I would highly recommend Matthew Feltman to be your tour guide, he is very knowledgable and friendly.
