More than we thought we would get to see
We really enjoyed looking at all the old forms of transport in this museum. The old cars were my one son's favorite. He counted that one person owned 25 of them! There could be better signage inside with more details of each item. But overall we really enjoyed walking around and stayed longer than expected.

Very quiet but has some nice exhibits.
This museum is good value and has some great exhibits of old railways and engines. They are well presented and laid out but it is forbidden to climb onto the engines, unlike other significant transport museums. There were two model railways and you could put a coin in to get them to work. However one was not working because a train had completely derailed. There was a little snack shop selling drinks and crisps etc but no gift shop. It would have been nice to be able to buy some souvenirs, such as books, pens, fridge magnets etc.
