AN OLD NG CHURCH
When I arrived I was told that the entrance fee was R10. I only had R200. notes and Andrea said I could enjoy the Museum and maybe come back later to pay. Whilst looking at the lovely display of crockery I suddenly remembered where I had small notes. Much to Andrea's amusement I ran to my car and came back with my entrance fee. Now I was free to take as many photos as I wanted. What I liked most was that the original pulpit was still intact. There is a display of bridal dresses and family bibles but I liked most was the white and silver tea service ( I told Andrea as I left that was all I wanted - much to her dismay). There were interesting old wheelchairs and musical instruments. Packets of dried herbs (from the Joubert House garden) for any ailments are for sale as well as jars of Honey and Rooibos teas. Do pay them a visit - they need your support

Herbal medicine alongside culture
Worth a stop to get a feel for the towns history. Well displayed items covering the history of fruit and medicines in the area. There is also a nice interactive displ about slavery. . Make sure you go out back to the garden to see how the herbal me dines are made.
