    Fantastic Animal Sanctuary!
This was our second visit here and we enjoy this place every time we come. They currently have a special on which includes entrance with a guided tour (optional), 1 experience and a meal at the restaurant for 250 rand per person. We choose to walk around by ourselves and enjoy. The animals have a lot of free range and they have some more interactive enclosures as well. The birds is one of my favourites, you can buy small pots of nectar for 15 rand each and they will come and sit on you and drink the nectar- great for photo opportunity's! We have done the Lemurs (We would highly recommend choosing this encounter) and Serval encounters before so this time we chose the Baby Cheetah Cubs. Our guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable. They made sure it was only us in the enclosure to make the experience more personal and special and you could see that safety was also a top priority for them. A photographer takes photos of you with the cubs and you have the option to buy the photos afterwards. They put them onto a memory stick for 120 rand. The food was great and service was very friendly. Overall all of the staff we encountered were very happy, helpful and smiley and the sanctuary has put good COVID measures in place for a safe operation. The animals are all well looked after and have adequate space for them to roam in. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

    Great place to visit
As we had time to spare before checking into our lodge we decided to visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch. We actually walked in with a little smile at the - at first glance - a bit „kitschig“ look of the place. But the tour with Ronaldo, our guide, convinced us of the concept behind this place: awareness, protection and rehabilitation (where possible). His passionate and at the same time humorous accounts about the animals in this „ranch“ were very convincing and authentic. Well done, Ronaldo. We had booked an encounter with cheetahs - here too, the staff (especially Heinz) made this an unforgettable experience.
