super nice dinghy
we had rented dinghy for 4 hours. Boat license is not required. We had a nice trip on the Murray River to the lake. In a side channel we have also seen a dolphin. Check it out

Relaxing and Fun
Our family of 6 ranges in age from 8 to 78 and although we had been unable to get a response via email from this business, we took a chance and just drove there on a nice warm day. We found the operator (Murray) with his boats just past the Ravenswood Hotel (his business is quite separate from them but it is a handy place for a drink, something to eat, and a toilet!). There are a variety of boats to choose from and as you do not need a Skipper's licence for any of them, we hired the large pontoon boat for $100 an hour, $50 for the second hour if you want longer. We cruised up towards Mandurah and it was very safe and relaxing. Murray gave us a friendly and informative talk before we left and was also happy to overlook the fact that our cruise ran slightly over-time due to our mis-calculation of how long it would take. We could have gone towards Pinjarra as well. On our return we hired a pedal boat and a kayak for half an hour. Prices vary and kayaks are one or two person. There are small motorised dingys on offer as well. We just paddled around that area of the river and our 12 year old had no trouble handling the kayak. Murray and his wife were very friendly and we would certainly go again.
