Interesting, informative and entertaining skipper Grant from Kalbarri Wilderness cruises from the mouth of the Murchison River up river. Grant had a good knowledge of the river and the sand banks and we got off the boat up river to explore the area for a short time. Well worth the time spent on the river

    River Mouth Meets the Ocean
    The best view to see the river meeting the Indian Ocean is from Chinaman's point especially during sunset. There's ample parking space and just a short walk up to the view point. Highly recommended.

    The Kalbarri Delta
    Great view from Chainman's Point where the river meets the Indian Ocean. Interesting to see a blue sea and within the basin, water with a green hue. Plenty of activity with small boats and families trying their luck angling. I have to admit that I would like to see the river in full spate.
