Step Back in Time
Storrowton Village Museum is a collection of buildings from around New England and date from 1767 - 1850. Two of the buildings represent homes from around the time of the Revolution. There is a schoolhouse, a functioning blacksmith shop, a law office, a Meeting House, and a Tavern. One of the original homes serves as offices and country store. There is also a Christmas Shop in the right side of the Potter Mansion. There is a large herb garden behind the Gilbert Farmhouse where both medicinal and cooking herbs are grown. Guides dressed in period costumes will guide you through the history of the times and give many details about the buildings and their former owners. The Village is open during the Big E fair, and at other times during the year.

Not always open, but worth finding out their hours.Much to see and learn here.
Is a small venue, but worth taking the time. Much valley history here, and the staff were very friendly, and answered all our questions. They were not busy, sad as more people would enjoy coming here if they knew about it.
