5.0 (145 reviews) Spent More than 3 hours Ranking #3 in Raja Ampat Reefs

one of the best diving stie around Kri

we dove there a coupld of times during our stay in Yenkoranu and both of them were amazing, with current )not to strong, but better with a hook to keep from flaying under water) very very nice!

Might Be Great For Diving But NOT for Snorkling
We went twice to Cape Kri to snorkel and compared to other places we visited in Raja Empat the snorkeling here is average at best. It may be an awesome diving location but it is not amazing for snorkeling. However the second time we visited our boatman took us to snorkel at the reef around the tiny island called KOI which is just off the tip of Cape Kri and easily visible with its white sand beach. Now this reef was stunning with very alive coral, heaps of sharks and turtles, massive schools of fish and really a highlight. So if they want to take you to snorkel at Cape Kri go just a little further to Koi Island and you will be very happy indeed.

    Very nice dive site
We spent 2 weeks diving the Dampier Strait at Raja Ampat and hit close to 40 dive sites. We enjoyed Cape Kri and as it really put Raja Ampat on the map for biodiversity, it’s a must for any diver. There was medium current when we went, lots of schooling fish, a few sharks, bumphead parrotfish, etc. While we really enjoyed the dive, for us there was much better diving depending on what you like. We’re macro lovers so we enjoyed Mike’s Point, Manvil, Yenbuba, etc. and of course Blue Magic and Manta Ridge for amazing manta encounters.
