Some good some bad and some just awful
A family of four cost us £59 booked in advance from the website . On the whole it was a mixed day some lovely some of it just awful . There were some interactive displays the kids loved some of this but found the rest a little boring A lovely experience playing with chocolate but again affter 10 mins this was done we then got to have a ride on the car ride which the kids loved so much we did twice . They then wanted to charge us £12 for a photo taken we declined and off to try a small amount of melted chocolate with are choice of toppings this was lovely and we actualy got to watch some chocolate being made (finally) Then outside to a brilliant 4 d cinema kids loved this and an amazing playground also the bornvile museum I like this the kids not so much . Then off to the cafe and this is where it all went so wrong from the lovely staff in the museum to the well plain rude and unhelpful staff in the cafe . The food is over priced rubbish the Pannine and chips was over £9 and doesn’t come with a drink and the Pannine was so uncooked I think they just showed it the grill . The kids boxes were around £5 it came with a dry ham or cheese roll a packet of pom bears a muffin apple and drink they forgot to give the drinks hence I had to go and ask this is where we discover how rude they were . If I was you guys take a picnic it’s just not worth entering the cafe unless you have booked afternoon tea as this is the only customers they appeared to care about . All in all museum ( it’s realy not a factory experience) is lovely and the free chocolate at the beginning was a bonus and the kids had a realy nice time but I’m realy unsure if it is worth the money .

Disappointing Easter experience
I have been to Cadbury world a number of times with different children in the last 25 years. It is a good day out but the format hasn’t changed much over these years. In fact, the experience is getting worse in a number of ways. I have felt compelled to write this review now as we went just before Easter but you wouldn’t have known it from the lack of ‘extras’. The chocolate gifts have been massively reduced. There used to be staff throughout popping them into your bag as you went around the experience. You can no longer look down onto the production floor (probably due to covid) which is all boarded off leading to long empty corridors to walk along. This takes away from the fact that you are actually visiting a working factory environment and it could be anywhere. BUT most disappointing was the lack of any Easter extras. No ‘find the hidden egg’ trail or similar etc. To top it off the live show-The Easter Extravaganza- was an insult to all the children. Fredo was given three tasks. Make the children laugh then dance and finally to make an Easter treat. The children watched in anticipation as chocolate cornflake cakes were made in front of them. The compère encouraging the children to shout out instructions and repeatedly mentioning chocolate eggs and Easter treats. Once completed the cakes were whisked away behind the screen and Fredo got his reward; an enormous chocolate Easter egg!! Followed by the compère directing the audience out. I really think the company could have provided a small egg for the children on the way out and there were a lot of disappointed faces. The tickets aren’t cheap and the two weeks of the school holiday are fully booked out so I think Cadbury/Fry’s are being very lack lustre and mean spirited. My advice: go somewhere else at Easter and save your Cadbury visit for another time
