Beautiful setting for a family friendly park!

This is an amazing waterfront park where you are surrounded by ocean, mountains, fishing vessels, yachts, marina life etc. As a dog owner, this is an excellent location to walk your pooch, it has an open grass area, and along the way there are always a cleaning up station for your fido. On a nice sunny day, there will be kites flying, children playing and couples walking hand in hand. Come here and experience yourself and breath in the ocean air!

    Walking the Waterfront
Walking the pathways around Squalicum Harbor out to Zuanich Point Park is a favorite thing to do. Pass neighbors, dog walkers, bike riders, and flowering trees as you follow the generous paved paths. The city has landscaped this area with lovely plants to enjoy through the seasons. There are benches on which to rest at several points as well as some stations where an exercise activity can be performed. There are periodic markers to use in monitoring your distance traveled. At the western end of the loop enjoy the activity of the fishing fleet near Zuanich Park. Fishermen may be seen mending or changing nets, or working on their boats during the summer months. On a sunny day, bring a picnic lunch and a kite! This park is a great place to fly kites or watch others engage in this activity.

    A Unique View of Bellingham
This is a great destination if you've got limited time and/or mobility. It's an easy access and mere steps from the parking lot to spectacular waterfront views of Bellingham Bay, downtown and south Bellingham and on a clear day, even Mt. Baker. A well- maintained asphalt path meanders around the perimeter of this small park which has ample grassy areas often enjoyed by youngsters. One edge of the path runs along Squalicum Harbor and offers a nice view of the sailboats. This park is seasonally windy and a favorite for kite enthusiasts.
