    Worth the stop
Very nice little museum and gift shop. It also has nice rest area bathrooms. Nice to see old buildings being kept alive. This apparently was the once the Tiger store.

    Tiger Deals.
We live next door. If you are looking for collectibles you might see in the museum you are at the right place. Open in the summer The nonprofit museum is a Gem of information. Take a look into the Past and experience the Last Placed settled and the forgotten corner of Washington. Once you are in Tiger, the information , Maps and pictures, will help you find that forgotten spot to explore. Stop first at the museum to get information and something to drink and eat. Not a restaurant but still worth stopping. You might find an interesting treasure as well. There is much to find out about the history and local places to explore. I have lived here ten years and I never get tired of being in the perfect spot to reach all the fun places to explore. One secret place is just a few miles away if you have a 4x4. Bring your fishing pole and camping gear. The best camping is near Tiger and Tiger is on the way to the excellent outdoor activities waiting you. This is a destination for the outdoor enthusiast looking for the forgotten places that have not changed much. Sullivan lake in one direction. Z canyon in another. Beaver lodge in another. Blue slide in the other direction. The chain of lakes is ten minutes up the hill. Grab a snack and something to drink while you explore the archives of the museum. You got to think outside the box. Most miss all the good spots because they don't know where they are. The locals absolutely love Gods county ! Don't spoil it for them. No body appreciates littering or trashing our beautiful community. Be sure and visit ione and metaline and don't miss Metaline falls. You can do many different side trips exploring backroads. Priest lake idaho has two dirt roads and you can access north port using three different back country routs. Along the way don't miss sweet creek falls and then the wonderful Park in metaline. There is the old power house to see . Peewee falls the second largest in the state. Gardner caves is right around the corner. Z canyon has some of the best kayaking in the state. Amborcrombie mountain has unusual plant life and wonderful views right near hook nose mtn. Then you have hall mtn which is so special it feels like heaven and you might see the big horn sheep. We have caribou , Grizzly bears , and even a wolf pack. There is no reason to keep going. This is definitely a destination for the explorer type or outdoor enthusiast , rock hound, backpacking, kayaking etc.
