Fantastic Park!
Decided to get out of the house today, and the kids voted to go somewhere with a beach. We hadn’t yet visited Sunnyside Beach, so we opted to check it out this morning. So glad we did and highly impressed! Such a beautiful area, great views, and a clean and friendly park with lots for kids to explore! Finding a beach with sandy spots and not just rocks was another huge bonus. Playground area was great, there were lots of picnic tables and benches for seating, bathrooms were extremely clean, drinking fountains were working, and there were showers past the sand volleyball court to rinse yourself off. When there’s not much open due to COVID, it is so nice to find a relaxing place to hang out. Parking is $5 cash (bring exact change).

Kayaking at Sunnyside beach
Great place to have a small picnic or launch your kayak. great views of Puget Sound . Nice beach to walk during low tide.

Went to walk with
Granddaughter loves it, can be crowded during certain seasons like summer. They have a playground, volleyball set up, you can see scuba divers and it’s nature at its best. Jellyfish and all!
