Crystal clear water and lots of fish
This river is perfect. So clear that you can see the fish rise from the bottom to take your fly. There is a good current and it is cold in August. No trash and its pretty much catch and release. You will love it.

Beautiful!
A truly wild and scenic river, almost entirely untouched. Cold water, so not great for swimming, but there's fishing, rafting through the Stehekin Valley Ranch, or just wandering along and enjoying the views. It gets pretty buggy in August and September, though.
