I'd live here if I left California
This is a great neighborhood. There is something very wonderful about this community. It definitely FEELS like a community, where people know each other and hang out at the Starbucks and say hello to each other at the Albertson's. There are lots of other places that I have explored during my visits here with my daughter, and I am REALLY liking the vibe in the South Hill area of the city.

"The South Hill" is a large area encompassing several neighborhoods. Some reviews talk about Manito Park as being the south hill. The South hill is by far the more beautiful part of Spokane, I have lived all over the city and know Spokane very well. It has been called snob hill because of the beautiful homes. Sure, not every neighborhood is as great. The lower east part is a bit run down in spots and a small part of the upper south hill is becoming full of apartments. A beautiful area to consider living in.
