Skagit's Own Fish Market, Washington, United States

4.5 (34 reviews) Thursday: 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM Spent Ranking #1 in Burlington Speciality & Gift Shops

Hello? Where do I begin? 10 Star isn't enough!

Stopped at Skagit's Fish Market on our way from Burlington to Annacortes. I love the local shops run by local folks that serve the area with the best food ever! We needed to by some Halibut for our Halibut Olympia Recipe and on top of that we were hungry. So we ended up buying our Halibut, but the menu looked pretty darn good. We ordered the Lobster Roll which I don't think as local but just as good if not better than if I was in Maine. The Clam Chowder was nothing out of the ordinary, sorry. But they did have so many other goodies you can't get anywhere else, so this place is a 'GO TO" in my travel book. I will be back for other goodies on their menu but I don't think I can get past the Lobster Rolls, Haha!

    Great crab rolls
Excellent place to stop for lunch and get a crab roll or other sandwich. The bread is delicious and really adds to the taste of the fish. Also, pick up some fish to take home while you’re there.

    Best in the area!!
As a seafood lover, this place has been at the top of my list of places to get to. Today I made it!! I purchased Dungeness crabmeat, a halibut filet, a couple other items to go with it, and then . . . the crab sandwich that I've heard such raves about. Only after I got home did I realize that they had not finished the sandwich and put it in the bag yet. I left too soon, but being 40 minutes away, I opted not to drive all the way back, and used the crab I bought to make my own sandwich. I can't speak to their sandwich specifically, but I CAN say it was the freshest and tastiest crab I've eaten anywhere in this area. The halibut filet was dinner tonight, and it was also fresh, moist, and delicious. This fish market will be a regular stop for me from now on. Highly recommend it!
