Hidden Gem Atop the Hill

A fabulous step back in the history of the settlement of LaConner and area. Excellent exhibits! Wonderful view of the valley from their deck. Give yourselves plenty of time to view and read about the different immigrants who settled this area. You can take pictures but not of the native Indian baskets and tools.

    The Best Kept Secret
    After several trips to LaConnor, I finally searched out its museums and what a great surprise. This museum high on a hill. Has amazing vistas, beautiful displays, a sweet gift store and an amazing, helpful staff. It was a most enjoyable experience. I was also gifted with suggestions as to other nearby towns to visit.

    Absolutely fascinating
    This may have been the most interesting and accessible local museum I have ever visited. It's quite small, but we spent almost an hour there and will go back to see more. Since I grew up on a farm in Michigan, I spent a lot of time looking at the farming exhibits, but there was so much more to see.
