Beautiful strolling garden experience
April is a great time to see the flowers and trees in bloom. When the sky has high white clouds it makes for a dramatic backdrop along with the backdrop of the arboretum trees outside the garden. The purposely designed vistas are doubled with the reflecting pond. There is even a trail map of Japanese stone lanterns. There are postcard photo opportunities every 10 steps including waterfalls and turtles sunning on rocks

Beautiful Japanese Gardens located with Washington Park Arboretum
Absolutely beautiful park, even in November. Bathrooms located right outside the main entrance. The entrance fee of $8 per person is reasonable. It's about a 20-30 minute walk from the Arboretum's visitors center to the Japanese Gardens.
