Beautiful Day for a walk through the Seafarers Memorial!
This was our first smoke free day from the fires in Washington and Oregon. So, we decided to go for a walk around the Memorial and local Marina. It was so beautiful seeing the statues, the boats and enjoying the fresh air. Stop at Anthony's for a bite to eat or stop at the local food trucks on the other side, you won't be disappointed. The birds were fun to watch and if you're lucky you might even see a seal or two that hang out by the fishing boats. Have fun!

Very welcome stmosphere
I love this park. Greenspace, nice lawn where people come to sit and watch the boats leaving and coming into the marina. A few tables where people meet to share a meal. A few benches. Very clean bathrooms. A small beach, a little rocky, kids should wear water shoes. Always filed with nice people visiting, children playing, bikers, dog walkers. Very welcome atmosphere. Vey clean. Beautiful views of the yachts and the ocean...
This is the second time we've visited this small memorial park. It is a great place to take some beautiful photos of the area. The memorial to those Anacortes residents who have lost their lives to the sea goes back to the early 1900s and is very interesting.
