Wonderful even with COVID

Even with the strict outdoor restrictions, the staff made our visit wonderful. We sat on their patio near a heater, we were provided some crackers and the staff was great at describing their wines. Their reds were delicious and were took home a couple bottles of their Tempranillo and a Malbec. The patio looks like it would a lot of fun in nice weather. Bring blankets and layers of there is still outdoor only restrictions but I would go back, even if I needed to sit outside.

Good place to start wine tasting
Winery was crowded and glad that there were open spots outdoors. Mask required indoors. Greeted by Carlos who was one of the pourers. Other staff helped and all gave me a good background of the different wines. I may met one of the owners named Aniita. When she said, "You betcha." I wonder if she was from MN. All of the wines were tasty and many of them 100 percent and local within the Walla Walla area (some grapes were in OR but the winery is right on the border and the grapes were grown about 5 miles away so i was okay with this). I also like that do not add residual sugar to the wines (at least the ones I tasted) and learned a term called puncheon. Did try some extra wines that were not included in the tasting. Did buy a Barbera which technically can be sipped this year but may wait tlll next year. Reservations highly recommended. If I am in the area, woud definitely come back again.

    One of our favorites
We visited 9 wineries on this trip. We’re wine club members so knew what to expect. But the service by John and his knowledge was first class. So us and another couple left with some good wind at a good price. The patio area was small but fine.
