Beautiful Viewpoint Overlooking The Spokane River
The Bowl and Pitcher area of Riverside State Park is an interesting geological feature as well as a great area for a fairly simple hike (but gravel paths require some caution). It can be a bit breezy in this area but the hike from the parking area across the bridge to a picnic area is fun. Being a state park, a $10 daily parking fee is required unless you're a Washington Resident who's purchased an annual pass. Entrance to the park itself is free.

Camped here! Beautiful park and we will be back :)
We camped at the Bowl and Pitcher over Bloomsday weekend. What a beautiful campground and well maintained park. As Canadians it is amazing to see the funds that go into American state parks. The swinging bridge was a hit with our toddler. We loved exploring the trails close to the campground. People were so friendly.
