Great place, off beaten path

Loved this place! Such talent, and available for the public to view these great iron pieces of recycled iron made into art. We truly enjoyed the walk through the garden and premises. Donations accepted.

had to stop and see, Ex-Nihilo, Recycled spirits of iron, Sculpture Park
As as drove to Mt.Rainier we passed so beautiful sculptures, and there was a sign that said OPEN FREE. We decided to stop on the way back down from Mt. Rainier. We were glad we stopped because the pieces were beautiful works of art. But that also made you think about what the pieces were made from. You could see horse shoes, nuts and bolts. pipes and parts of engines and building supplies that were all discarded and now recycles. We were lucky enough to meet the artist and talk with him for a bit. The entrance fee is free but he does take donations. He had a small gift shop and in the back he has a section that is dedicated to the memory of his daughter. We were very glad we that we stopped.

    Fascinating and educational
Take the time to stop and meander about. Look at all the different parts and pieces that go into these sculptures. From garden tools to car parts to industrial pieces to railroad spikes to horseshoes. fascinating. Purchased a large sculpture here and am thrilled with it. Definitely worth the suggested $5 entry.
