Beautiful spot
I love to go to this spot and take photos of the views. It is fun to watch patents and kids on the beach. This is a wonderful neighborhood.

Nice Ramp, Good Parking
This is a great place to launch a boat, not only because it is a great ramp with two floating docks, but it is situated so that you can do a little cruising and fishing and crabbing with wonderful views of Mt. Rainier and Seattle. It's a short hop to Blake Island or Bainbridge. You can float around in The Sound, or buzz down Rich Passage toward Bremerton. There is a decent amount of parking and a respectable turn-around area so you can back your boat down and pull out easily. There are also a lot of parking spots for vehicles with boat trailers at the far end of the library parking lot. When things are really busy, there are a lot of side streets within a block or two. Sadly, there is no convenience store in Manchester as of this writing, so stock up on snacks, ice, and beverage before you get here. Nice Pub and Restaurant nearby, though, and well worth the drive to get out here and into the water.
