Worth seeing especially the new Aquarium!
It was a sunny Oct. day and we got there in the late morning on Sunday. We did see the elephant, musk oxs, tiger, monkey, penquins, but what was really a great surprise is the new Aquarium. It was amazing. I would say it is a smaller version of the Monterey and Maui Aquariums. For a small zoo this was a nice feature. Lots of room for everyone to enjoy the sea life. They could do more to put signage at the front entrance to say it's "Open" as building is so dark inside I thought it was closed. We spent about 2 hours there and enjoyed it very much.

Nice park on the water
We discovered this park on a recent trip to Tacoma. It has many things to see such as a zoo and an aquarium, Lots of places to park and walk along the water and enjoy the great views such as Owen Beach. The park has many signs making it easy to visit. The park was not crowded but we went in February.
