Ozette Loop Hike, Washington, United States

Brilliant hike
This was one of my favourite hikes on my five week holiday to USA and Canada. The hike starts at the ranger station at Lake Ozette. The trails are boardwalk based and very easy to follow. In fact, it is impossible to go off trail. The beach was secluded and beautiful. The beach is rocky at times so you can rush this bit. Then back on the loop to the car park Highlights: the accessible trail Seeing a black bear on the beach (see photo) Secluded and beautiful beach

Stunning and full of wildlife
Beautiful hike after briefly visiting Forks. We stopped here to get a little hike in during our visit to the area, it is absolutely lovely here and teeming with wildlife! We took our time and enjoyed every minute. This isn't too hard of a walk so we didn't feel like we were worn out or tired at the end of a couple of hours here. It's a worthwhile visit for anyone who loves nature.

Scenic hike to the Wild Washington Coast
One of my favorite hikes. The Scenery is incredible and changes every mile. Summer is very busy, and when wet, the boardwalks are slippery. If you are doing the full loop, watch your tide charts and know where you are at. We do this with my Scout Troop every year and the Scouts (age 10 to 17 love it). Long drive from almost everywhere!
