Olympic Beach, Washington, United States

Fun!

This great little beach is sandwiched between the pier and the ferry terminal. A nice little sandy beach with lots of children (big and small) enjoying a sunny day on the sand! There is a grassy area above with benches for those who just want to enjoy watching the beach activity without getting wet or sandy. There is also an ice-cream shop just around the corner for an added treat on a hot day!

Great place to sit and relax
If you want to just sit and relax visit here in the winter. There is nothing but peace and quiet. I wish I was still living there.

    Access to the sound!
Olympic Beach is very small, but offers some interesting views of the sound (especially from the fishing pier). Cool to watch the Edmonds - Kingston ferry come in, load and unload. Also fun to check out the fishers and crabbers on the pier. The beach itself is rather small and not very attractive (brown sand, with lots of sea grass and driftwood), but it is a marine conservation area, so you might see some sea life. There are some quirky statues and art sculptures along the waterfront, and lots of benches to sit and relax.
