Absolutely fantastic and a short drive from Anacortes

This 400ft bluff is treasured by locals and tourists alike. You can drive to the top, or hike it (remember: 400ft elevation gain). Either way, the views are stunning and the Mountain Guardian sculpture designed by a local artist in the mid-60's reminds you of Myst.

    Fantastic views
    Any time we have out of town guests, we make sure to bring them to Mt. Erie. On a clear day the views are incredible. It's accessible, since you can drive all the way to the top. From there, set off in any direction for views.

    Easy Hike with Spectacular View
    My husband and I knew nothing about Mt.Erie until we happened upon a sign by the road. Once we got to the parking area is was an easy walk to the viewpoints which included a stone bench, a memorial for a boy who had fallen. A million dollar view of islands and land galore. We spent quite a bit of time admiring the view, walking and with very few other visitors. A real gem!
