Greats views from a steep hike.
Trail goes up almost 3,000 feet in 3 miles over a lot of switch backs. You walk a ridgeline to the very peak. Round trip is 8 miles - allow plenty of time and bring plenty of water. Lots of horse flies when I went up unfortunately. The small parking lot fills quickly on weekends. I parked on shoulder arriving 9AM on a Saturday.
