Exceptional wines

Bordeaux-Inspired, Washington-Crafted Since 1992, we've taken inspiration from one of the world’s greatest winemaking traditions and used it to make wines that are uniquely ours. We believe in the best of both worlds, and we refuse to compromise boldness for balance, complexity for drinkability. Experience the audacity and originality of one of the world’s ascendant wine regions, tempered with a reverence for the skill and patience of history’s most iconic grape blenders. We believe a great wine is a wine you love to drink and share. We invite you to join our Wine Club and and to join us in celebrating great wines and all the great experiences that they pair so well with.

    Matthews is Always Excellent
The Matthews Winery grounds are beautiful. There are chairs tables scattered behind the tasting room, on the hill, spaced in a lovely way. There is also a garden to the side of the tasting room that's a tranquil place to experience and enjoy your wine. The wines are exceptional - Matthews, Tenor, and Jaine are all available for tastings. They are all wonderful.

    Friendly Service & Good Wine
We stopped at Matthews Winery as one of our last stops before the tasting rooms closed on a Friday evening. Wonderful reds, especially the Red Mountain Claret. But, all those I tasted were high quality and would easily be in my home cellar if I lived closer and had easier access to their wines. If your trip is limited on time Matthews is one of the places you should try in addition to Alexandria Nicole, Januik and Mark Ryan.
