Hops & Crops!

Mary Olson Farm is the most intact 1880s family farm in King County. Nestled in a private canyon, the center of the farm includes a farmhouse, large barn with animals, a weaving house, and several other out buildings surrounded by forested hillsides and two meadows. Mary Olson Farm is 60-acres and open only during the summer for picnics, and tours of the historic house.

    Imagine farming in the 1890s
Beautiful spot. Interesting story about Mary O. I enjoyed seeing the farm and imagining what it must have been like to live there without running water or electricity!

    Beautiful Restoration
The farm is beautifully restored, no two ways about it. There are donkeys, a cow, and some barn cats at varying intervals. It's a really nice hidden gem; lots of events, space for picnics, an incredibly well-restored residence and weaving shed, a huge barn, an orchard, and informational signs all around the property. There's plenty of parking, but it's a little janky, and there's a 1/8th of a mile walk over one beast of a hill to get to the farm proper. The staff was knowledgeable, for the most part, and they were friendly and very welcoming. Overall, a must see in my opinion.
