Amazing Park

This is a great beach and park. There is a section of just before the beach that has a playground for children; also, there is a nice beach area that you can use or just take in the great view. Near the park trail/pathway to go for a long walk to the Ferry or other beach areas in Edmonds. This is an amazing place to spend the day, I highly recommend it.

    Beautiful Beach
Really nice place to spend an hour or more. Most people we saw were crowding the beach but there were plenty of places to spread out and a few places to sit along the way. Beautiful area and a lot of parking, which is always a plus!

Great tide pools at low tide
It’s kind of silly to divide Edmonds into four separate beaches, as you can easily walk from Marina Beach (far south), to Olympic Beach (at the fishing pier), to Brackett’s Landing South (near the ferry dock), and finally to Brackett’s Landing North (on the north side of the ferry dock). Be sure to look at all four listings to appreciate what the Edmonds waterfront offers visitors. Marina Beach (498 Admiral Way) is the Edmonds beach furthest south. A family favorite, the picnic tables make it a great spot to bring a lunch and there is a small playground for the kids. The beach slopes abruptly, so it’s the ideal place to explore at really low tides. During low tides, you’ll find little tidal pools brimming with life like hermit crabs, snails, chitons, small fish, and sea slugs. Dotted throughout the tide flats are the egg casings from moon snails (they look like round rubber wheels). The egg casings are home to critters, too, providing shelter to baby sea slugs and sea stars. In July, the City of Edmonds hosts a sand castle contest at Marina beach. This is also the best Edmonds beach for kite flying. If you want to bring Fido with you, just south of Marina Beach is a large waterfront dog park. At Marina Beach’s north perimeter, a walkway bridge takes you from beach to the marina. You can follow the marina sidewalk to Olympic Beach.
